OUR HISTORY

In 2001, just around the time “The Fast and the Furious” movie was to be released, Strictly Auto Parts – previously known by their subsidiary name, “Strictly Kits” started a company that sold Body Kits, Lip Kits and HID Kits, which would meet the demand of the growing Import Tuner Scene. As a Canadian company, we didn’t have as much selection as the U.S. market did at that time. However, with much drive we found a local manufacturer in Ontario, Canada that would help us get started with providing parts to the growing industry.

Eventually, the demand grew so rapidly that our local manufacturer could no longer supply the parts we needed at a reasonable turnover time. In fact, the products we had were being made at a paste where quality was being sacrificed. This forcefully led us to seek for other alternatives, or even other manufacturers. Just as luck had it, we were contacted by two of USA’s big hitters that now go by the name of VIS Racing and AIT Racing.

For the next couple of years we constantly imported products from the USA to Canada and sold them directly to consumers. As word of mouth grew, so did our company.

A couple more years go by and the demand for these specific products slowly took a change in direction. As our customer-base matured, we naturally followed suit. Our peers who once drove those noisy and unique looking passenger vehicles were now driving Sport Utility Vehicles, Crossovers, and Trucks. The fast growing automotive industry led us to our inevitable future where we now provide parts and accessories to the best of both worlds...

As a result, Strictly Auto Parts was started!
